With a professional guide leading the way, we venture to quiet, scenic spots away from the crowds—places chosen for their beauty and perfect viewing conditions. Whether you're carrying your own camera or just soaking in the view, we’ll make sure you go home with stunning images. If you'd like, we’ll even take your photo beneath the dancing lights and send it to you afterward.

Throughout the tour, we’ll share insights about the local culture, nature, and the science behind the Aurora. Feel free to ask questions—this is your experience, and we’re here to make it unforgettable.

Tromsø and its surroundings are among the top locations in the world to witness this extraordinary phenomenon. And if clouds roll in, don’t worry—our team carefully monitors weather conditions and is ready to head wherever the sky is clearer, even across the border to Finland or Sweden.

To keep you warm and comfortable, we provide high-quality winter suits, insulated boots, and even tripods if needed—free of charge. Just bring your sense of wonder, and let the night unfold.

• Pick-up time: 5:30 PM ( outside of the Radisson Blu Hotel)

Itinerary

The Journey
At 5:30 PM, we’ll pick you up and warmly welcome you. During the drive, we’ll outline our exciting aurora-hunting plan as we journey through breathtaking winter landscapes.

The Aurora – The Green Lady
Upon reaching our destination, we’ll search for the perfect spot to witness the Aurora. Our guide, with intimate knowledge of the area, will lead you to hidden locations away from the crowds. As we wait, the sky may surprise us by clearing up completely, unveiling a spectacular show of lights.

Once there, we’ll help you suit up and set up your camera to ensure you’re ready to capture the magic. Leaving the car behind, we’ll venture through the snow to a serene spot. If conditions allow, we’ll light a small campfire to add warmth and atmosphere.

Throughout the evening, we’ll share captivating stories about life in the Arctic, the mysteries of the Northern Lights, and local traditions. Enjoy a delicious hot meal, along with tea, coffee, and our cookies!

Return to the city : Around 01:00AM  - 02:30AM

Notes: Time is approximate because Aurora is a surprising lady, as we say in Norway ;-)
